EQUASS is organising a training for Consultants in the EQUASS 2018 system this coming December 2017 - January 2018

This event is Part II (2 days) of a two-part training of 5 days total

The programme

Our new four-day consultant training will be kicked-off in Ljubljana - Slovenia from 11-14 June 2018. The training is open for both consultants familiar with EQUASS as for new aspiring consultants. For the latter, please consult   EQUASS Consultant Profile. 

The minimum number of participants for this training is 6 people. The draft programme of the training can be found here: Programme Consultancy Training Ljubljana

Participants must be aware that:

1. you will have to do preparatory work before the training. Home work will be received about three weeks prior to the training. The motivation letter of “why do you want to become an EQUASS Consultant” is a part of the preparatory work.
2. You will receive an assignment at the end of the training. This assignment is developed in order to see in to what extend the learning objectives have been met.
3. During the 4 days session you will have an interview with the trainer.
4. During the 4^th day of the training, you will have to show that you can present the EQUASS system well and that you can put what you've learned during the training into practice.

The dates have just been confirmed for our next auditor training session of four days in Vilnius: 5-8 November. This will be a newly developed training. Registrations are now open to the public untill 26 October. Don't miss out!

The training will be provided in English language with no interpretation. The participants are therefore expected to have English language skills for participation (and for writing the audit report). The programme of the training.

Registering is no guarantee for participation. To ensure a high quality of services, our to-be auditors are screened and selected. Firstly please read the auditor/consultant profile to see whether it fits your profile. If that is the case, then you're eligible to register for this training. 

Once registration has been done, each registrant will be asked to provide the Brussels Office with a cv in the Europass format, as well as with a motivation letter why the desire to participate in this training. These documents will be reviewed after which the registrant will get a confirmation (or not) of participation.

The participants are expected to prepare for the training. The homework will be forwarded to each participant, once approved for the training session.

During the training participants will be assessed on their understanding of the EQUASS system and a test will be done to check whether the participants have the competence to formulate proper and adequate feedback in the audit report.

Our next Consultant Training will be taking place in Porto, Portugal from 17 to 20 June 2019 (17-19 from 9.00 to 18.00 and 20 from 9.00 to 12.00) in the premises of APPC - Associação do Porto de Paralisia Cerebral Associação do Porto de Paralisia Cerebral .

- For who is interested in becoming an EQUASS recognised consultant, but has never had a training with EQUASS before:

The cost of the training is 1500 euros for 4 days, including lunch and coffee breaks. You are expected to bring an own laptop/iPad with MS Office installed (PowerPoint, Excel) and the most recent version of Adobe. When cancelling within less than three weeks of the start date of the training,  you are expected to pay the full fee upon cancellation of participation. One of the requirements to become a recognised EQUASS Consultant, is to participate in the full training.

 - For who is a recognised EQUASS Consultant in need of a callibration:

The cost of the training is 450 euros for 2 days (18 and 19 June), including lunch and coffee breaks. You are expected to bring an own laptop/iPad with MS Office installed (PowerPoint, Excel) and the most recent version of Adobe. When cancelling within less than three weeks of the start date of the training,  you are expected to pay the full fee upon cancellation of participation.

After registering, you will receive an email with the templates for the documents, as described in the process for the selection of the training participants. Please send these filled back to equass@equass.be. After a check of this documents, you will be notified of your participation to the traning or not. In the latter case you will receive an answer on which grounds.

If accepted to the course you will receive an email with the homework that you are expected to make before the training starts.

EQUASS is organising an Auditor Callibration Training. This training is meant for Auditors that have passed a full training module successfully. This is not for not-recognised-EQUASS auditors. 

The training will be taking place in Belas, Portugal from Monday 4 to Tuesday 5 November 2019 in the premises of the  'centers of the Institute of the Hospitaller Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus' and more specifically in their facilities of Belas, namely the 'Casa de Saúde da Idanha'. For their location, click here.

EQUASS is organising a second and last Auditor Callibration Training in 2019. In 2020 more Callibration trainings will follow. They will have a higher participation fee. Our Callibration training is meant for Auditors that have passed a full training module successfully and that wish to maintain their recognition. 

The training is open for all recognised auditors, so not only Lituanian auditors. It will be taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from Monday 11 to Tuesday 12 November 2019 in the premises of the Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre (VRC). Their location in Vilnius is Vaidilutes g. 69.

EQUASS is organising a Consultant Training. This training is meant for anyone, fitting the Consultant profile, aspiring to become an EQUASS Consultant.

The training will be taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark from Tuesday 10 to Friday 13 December 2019. The first training day (10 December 2019) will be held at the Inge & Sofie Marie Home. The 3 last days of the training will be held at The Marie Homes Head Quarters.

Once registered for the training, you will receive an email from the Brussels Office, asking you to send in a recent cv in the Europass format, as well as a motivation letter on why you would like to become an EQUASS Consultant. Only upon reception of these two documents and the approval of them, you will be confirmed as a participant for the training and thus be invoiced.

EQUASS plans two auditor training courses in different parts of Europe in 2020, with opportunities for doing both a full course and calibration, as well as a consultancy training - watch this space for more information. EQUASS will also feature at various promotional events co-organised with EPR in different countries.

EQUASS is organizing an Auditor Calibration Training on the 16 and 17th of March 2021.  

The training is open for all recognised auditors and it will be online. The cost is 450 euros for 2 days.
