Awareness-raising activities

On 27 and 28 November 2018 EQUASS organised a Conference on Quality Initiatives for Quality of Life and Social Inclusion in Lisbon. The key focus of the Conference was to present a wide range of Quality Initiatives from across Europe, highlighting experiences and research results from practitioners and experts. It showcased good practices and innovation. The European Commission also provided their perspectives on the topic. With 65 participants and a high level of satisfaction, the Conference was a big succes!

On 17th November 2015, the European Platform for Rehabilitation and EQUASS Unit, in collaboration with the EKON Association in Warsaw, organised a seminar and workshop for social service providers and social enterprises on the use of quality instruments in the sector.

On the 16th of December 2014, the EQUASS Licence Holder in Lithuania, Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre, organised and delivered an information event on EQUASS, that took place in the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of Lithuania.

One 27 January and 24 March 2014, EQUASS Key expert Guus van Beek contributed to two information events in Latvian capital, Riga.

On 14th January 2014, EQUASS Key Expert Guus van Beek contributed to a quality seminar organised by Panagia Eleousa in the region of Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece.

On the 28th of November 2013, the representative of EQUASS in Lithuania, Valakupių Rehabilitation Center (VRC), organised an information event in Vilnius that was attended by local stakeholders and organisations from the Baltic countries interested in applying for EQUASS certification.

On 14th and 15th November of 2013, APQ held its 38th Colóquio da Qualidade in Lisbon.

The 2013 EQUASS Awarding Ceremony was the third occasion EQUASS presented the eligible organisations with Assurance and Excellence certificates. The Ceremony was hosted by the EPR Annual Conference, which took place in Dublin, Ireland. Previous Awarding Ceremonies were held in Athens, Greece (2011) and in Tallinn, Estonia (2010).
