NAPREJ, Center for Persons with Acquired Brain Injury is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals who have suffered a severe brain injury, have a recognized disability status, and require assistance in their daily lives. Our primary focus is on long-term psychosocial and healthcare rehabilitation, striving to enhance the quality of life of our individuals and facilitate their successful integration into society.
All the services and programs we offer - including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychological counseling and interventions, life skills training, social and health care, and work under special conditions - are designed to encourage active participation in the broader social environment while simultaneously improving individuals' independence, functional abilities, and overall quality of life.
A significant part of our mission also includes preventive activities, counseling, and educational programs aimed at specific target groups as well as the general public. We place special emphasis on supporting family members of our individuals, actively involving them in all phases of the rehabilitation process and providing professional counseling, support, and guidance to help them navigate the challenges of caring for an individual with an acquired brain injury.
Our rehabilitation services are provided at two locations, in Maribor and Murska Sobota, where we ensure professional and comprehensive service and support for our users while fostering an encouraging and inclusive environment that enables them to develop their potential and regain the highest possible level of independence.
