1979 Seniors ’social care homes began to function as homes for independent living. After the restoration of independence, long-term and short-term social care services were provided in the Seniors' Social Care Home, thus establishing a social care home.
The institution implementing the rights and obligations of the owner of the institution is the Vilnius City Municipal Council.
The purpose of the institution is to provide long-term and short-term social care services for the elderly and adults with disabilities.
The mission is to form a reliable and high culture of social care for the elderly.
Up to 240 seniors can live in a nursing home. Due to physical and / or social self-sufficiency, our residents need constant care and assistance, therefore we carefully provide individual social care services on a daily basis that meet the level of independence of the residents and ensure social needs.

The seniors' social care home is located in Vilnius, in the territory of the unique Verkiai Regional Park.
1979 m. Senjorų socialinės globos namai pradėjo veikti kaip savarankiško gyvenimo namai. Atkūrus Nepriklausomybę, Senjorų socialinės globos namuose buvo pradėtos teikti ilgalaikės ir trumpalaikės socialinės globos paslaugos, taip buvo įkurti socialinės globos namai.
Įstaigos savininko teises ir pareigas įgyvendinanti institucija yra Vilniaus miesto savivaldybės taryba. Įstaigos paskirtis – teikti senyvo amžiaus asmenims ir suaugusiems asmenims su negalia, ilgalaikes ir trumpalaikes socialinės globos paslaugas.
Misija - formuoti patikimą ir aukštą senyvo amžiaus asmenų socialinės globos kultūrą.
Senjorų socialinės globos namuose gali gyventi iki 240 garbaus amžiaus senjorų. Dėl fizinio ir (ar) socialinio nesavarankiškumo mūsų gyventojams reikalinga nuolatinė priežiūra ir pagalba, todėl kasdien rūpestingai teikiame individualias socialinės globos paslaugas, atitinkančias gyventojų savarankiškumo lygį, užtikrinančias socialinius poreikius.
