Trakai Disability Employment Center (TNUC) was established in 2001. The founder of TNUC is the Lithuanian Association for the Adaptation of the Environment for People with Disabilities. The institution is a non-profit public legal entity with limited civil liability, the purpose of which is to integrate people with disabilities into society, provide them with the opportunity to communicate, move, provide education, training, occupational therapy, leisure, employment and other social services. To achieve the most favorable opportunities for the disabled to realize their abilities and occupy a proper place in society, to solve integration problems, without separating them from the problems of a healthy part of society, by including them injoint vocational rehabilitation, education, employment, culture and education programs.
VšĮ Trakų neįgaliųjų užimtumo centras (TNUC) įkurtas 2001 m. rugsėjo 21 d. TNUC steigėjas – Lietuvos žmonių su negalia aplinkos pritaikymo asociacija. Įstaiga yra pelno nesiekiantis ribotos civilinės atsakomybės viešasis juridinis asmuo, kurio tikslas – integruoti žmones su negalia į visuomenę, suteikti jiems galimybę bendrauti, judėti, teikti ugdymo, mokymo, darbo terapijos, laisvalaikio, užimtumo bei kitas socialines paslaugas. Siekti neįgaliesiems palankiausių galimybių realizuoti savo sugebėjimus bei užimti deramą vietą visuomenėje, spęsti integracijos problemas, neatskiriant jų nuo sveikos visuomenės dalies problemų, įtraukiant juos į bendras profesinės reabilitacijos, ugdymo, užimtumo, kultūros bei švietimo programas.
