Opero was established in 1978.

The company has 50 employees and provides services to about 115 participants.

Opero is a Vocational rehabilitation company in Sunnhordland, which aims to provide individual and professional offers and activities to people with complex challenges and reduced working capacity. The purpose is to get people back to, or into ordinary working life or education.

The company offers clarification and testing of jobseekers' ability to work. The goal is to find a good job match with a view to future choice of work and education.

The company offers work preparation training (AFT), and delivers Clarification and Work-oriented rehabilitation (ARR).

In Opero you can get work experience and training in mechanical professions, kindergarten, canteen, catering, office, and general computer training.

Recruitment to the company takes place in close collaboration with NAV.

In accordance with the Vocational Training Act, the company is approved as an apprenticeship company within several subjects.

Opero er ei Arbeid og Inkluderingsbedrift i Sunnhordland, som har til føremål å gi individuelle, yrkesretta tilbod og aktivitetar til personar med samansette utfordringar og nedsett arbeidsevne. Føremålet er å få menneske tilbake til, eller inn i ordinært arbeidsliv eller utdanning.

Bedriften tilbyr avklaring og utprøving av jobbsøkere arbeidsevne. Målet er å finne ein god jobb match med tanke på framtidig val av arbeid og utdanning.

Bedrifta tilbyr arbeidsførebuande trening (AFT), og leverer Avklaring og Arbeidsretta rehabilitering (ARR).

I Opero kan ein få arbeidspraksis og opplæring innan mekaniske yrke, barnehage, kantine, catering, kontor og generell dataopplæring.

Rekruttering til bedrifta skjer i nært samarbeid med NAV.

I høve til lov om fagopplæring, er bedriften godkjent som lærebedrift innan fleire fag.
